Vanderbuyst: New Album Flying Dutchman

VanderbuystDutch Hardrock Assault Vanderbuyst is definitely one of the hardest working bands from the Benelux! After playing 240 shows in 16 different countries and releasing 2 albums in the past 3 years, the band is currently preparing themselves for the release of their third album entitled 'Flying Dutchmen' which appears Friday December 7th through Van Records/Soulfood in Europe.
The album contains 11 catchy, hardhitting hardrock/classic metal songs inspired by late 70's Van Halen, Thin Lizzy, Montrose, UFO, Riot and Iron Maiden. Despite the fact the album was 100% analogue recorded and mastered in The Void Studio by Pieter 'Pidah' Kloos (The Devil's Blood), they managed to sound never like a typical retro-act. S.L. of the Devil's Blood, former colleague of VdB bandleader/guitarplayer Verbuyst in Powervice, is playing 2 guestsolo's on the album.

The band recently returned form their first Spanish headline tour which ended on the SerieZ Festival in Jerez where they were having a blast at the mainstage along Y&T and Warrior Soul! November 28th the band will start with the Scandinavian Invasion leg of their Flying Dutchmen tour, playing Helsinki, Oslo and Stockholm after which they will immediately continue with 26 shows in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany including a prime time performance at Eurosonic Showcase Event 2013 held in Groningen-Netherlands from January 10th- January 12th!
